During Nuuk Nordic Culture Festival posters with law proposals made by children and youngsters from Greenland and Åland – both self rule countries – can be seen and read throughout public places and streets in Nuuk. It is a collaboration between Nuuk Art Museum, NIPÅ – The Nordic Institute in Åland and Stine Marie Jacobsen, the artist behind Law Shifters. Law Shifters is a participatory art project.
At Nuuk Art Museum a law machine will be exhibited. Anyone can make come and make a law proposal they think is needed and a lawyer will translate the proposals to legal language and they will be made public via posters and screens.
